Saddle Brown is leather with a pulse. Warm, rich, and steeped in tradition, it echoes the look of well-worn tack and sun-darkened hide. This collection was built for those who prefer warmth over edge, character over conformity, and objects that reward daily use rather than resist it.

The Saddle Brown 002 collection exists because you asked for it. The same three-piece everyday carry format as the Holstein 001 collection, in a leather that takes a different path. Where Holstein is jet black and structured, Saddle Brown is warm, natural, and alive with movement. Flex it or bend it and lighter tones bloom through the surface. Use it every day and it darkens, deepens, and settles into something that is entirely your own.

The leather for this collection was hand selected by us on a visit to A&A Crack & Sons in Northampton, one of Britain's most respected leather merchants. We chose it for its natural grain, its warm tone, and its pull-up character. No dye pushed toward a particular shade, no coating applied to make it look more consistent than it is. Just honest material at its most natural.

What makes this collection different

Pull-up leather is one of the most characterful leathers available. The oils and waxes drawn deep into the hide during the tanning process create a surface that responds visibly to touch and use. Lighter tones appear where the leather is flexed. Darker tones develop where hands and fingers make daily contact. Over months and years, the leather records how you use it in a way that no two pieces ever replicate exactly.

This is leather that tells your story. Scuffs do not ruin it. They join it. A mark from a key, a crease from a pocket, a slight darkening at the edges where you open your wallet every morning: these are not signs of wear. They are signs that something well-made is doing its job.

The leather

Full-grain, leather sourced through A&A Crack & Sons, Northampton. Hand selected for its natural grain and pull-up character. The saddle brown tone is not a finish applied to the surface. It is the natural state of the leather from the tanning process itself. It will not peel, crack, or fade. It will deepen, burnish, and patina in a way that is entirely specific to how you carry it.

The construction

Every piece in the Saddle Brown 002 collection is hand stitched using Ritza waxed thread in a saddle stitch. Edges are finished by hand. Hardware is solid brass throughout. Built to the same standards of construction as the Holstein 001 collection, applied to a warmer, more characterful palette.

The three pieces in the collection are designed to work together as a coordinated everyday carry set, and to age together in a way that makes the set feel more considered the longer it is used.
