Built to be used and enjoyed, not kept pristine, this leather grows better with age. Developing a deep, burnished patina that tells your story over time. Saddle Brown is honest, hardworking, and quietly bold: a colour that feels instantly familiar and only improves the longer it’s in your hands.

You asked for a brown collection, and we have delivered. This British sourced brown veg tan leather comes in the same pieces as the Holstein, but with it neutral tones will work with the warmer times ahead. 

This leather is full-grain and characterful, with natural variation that means no two pieces ever agree completely. Oils and waxes are drawn deep into the hide, giving it a subtle pull-up effect: flex it, bend it, live with it, and lighter tones bloom through the surface. Over time it darkens, softens, and records use the way a good saddle does—quietly, faithfully, and forever in service.

Every item in the Saddle Brown collection is built to age rather than wear out. Scuffs don’t ruin it; they join the story. The finish rewards handling, developing a deep, burnished patina that only comes from years of daily use.

This is leather for objects meant to be reached for without thinking—wallets, bags, cases that feel better the longer they stay with you. Saddle Brown doesn’t chase trends. It settles in, does its job well, and grows more itself as time passes.

The leather for these pieces was hand selected by us on a recent trip to A & A Crack & Sons in Northampton, UK.
