The Pioneer Belt

The Pioneer is cut from a single strap of light tan, full-grain veg tan leather with a rich pebbled grain that gives it character from the first wear. Bold against denim and dark trousers, it deepens in colour and moulds to you over time, so it becomes more yours every year.

The leather

Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from a British tannery, supplied through Abbey England. Compared with our Tuscany belts, it has a slightly softer temper. The surface is rolled flat during finishing, which keeps the pebbled grain low and even and gives it a more natural, tactile feel under the hand. It is comfortable from day one, and the light tan will darken and burnish where you wear it most.

The details

- 38mm wide, 4mm thick
- Solid brass buckle and keeper, polished
- Buckle fold hand saddle-stitched in light tan Ritza thread
- Sunburst screw fastening on the keeper
- Angled tip with the debossed Everbound mark
- Five holes as standard, giving room to go up or down
- Handmade in Bristol, England

Sizing

Add 1 to 2 inches to your trouser waist measurement to find your belt size: 1 inch for a closer fit, 2 inches for a more relaxed one. Then choose the range that includes it.

- 30 to 36 inch (76 to 91 cm)
- 34 to 38 inch (86 to 97 cm)

The Pioneer works as well with worn-in denim as it does with tailored trousers. It's understated enough for every day and well made enough to last for decades.
